- Service line installation - WPS provides a portion of the service line — the pipe that runs between the gas main and meter. If more service line is needed, you will be responsible for the charge. Contact WPS at 800-242-9772 to learn about your options.
- Excess flow valve - WPS installs an excess flow valve (EFV) on all new residential gas service lines. This valve automatically limits the flow of natural gas if a service line is cut.
- Selecting a contractor - To upgrade your piping and equipment, choose a qualified contractor who follows all code requirements when switching to natural gas.
